FABIO LAMPERT

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Vienna, affiliated through the FWF cluster of excellence project Knowledge in Crisis.

Before that I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Greifswald, after earning a PhD in Philosophy from the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of California, Irvine.

My research interests are in metaphysics, philosophy of language, logic, and epistemology.

I’ve received an ESPRIT grant from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) for a 3-year project on free will, modality, and hyperintensionality, which I’ll lead as Principal Investigator. (2025)
I was part of an amazing team that created President of the Universe, a clicker game developed in less than 48 hours during the Truth, Lies, and Democracy Game Jam in Vienna (2025). You can find more details and play the game here.
